Resist the Darkness
Young Jack Quick was a freedom fighter, a rouge, or an anarchist, depending on one’s point of view. His origins were unknown; he grew up in the tough slums of Johannesburg, South Africa, where his white skin and blonde hair were a magnet for trouble. But Jack was strong, and his fists were fast. When he became a teenager, nobody ever picked on him again.

The Naked President
The Naked President is a tongue-in-cheek political/social comedy about the remarkable and eccentric Cartmel family. It weaves together the lives of the richest man in the world, an irrational socialist activist, and an eccentric philosopher venerated by a fearsome West Coast motorcycle gang.

Customer Reviews
More than a good story, it tells of the value of a retirement community.

And like a roller coaster it has its ups and downs
A roller coaster of a book, and like a roller coaster it has its ups and downs, sometimes takes your breath away, sometimes moves too fast. But it's a romp and a fun read with unforgettable characters, broadly drawn but living and breathing for all that...

Jack’s Bio
I spent over 20 years of my career in the publications industry, moving around continental Europe. At the time, I met my wife, an American history teacher living in Madrid, Spain. We were married in Gibraltar and spent the next eight years living near Malaga on the Spanish Costa del Sol.
We opened a desktop publishing service and worked with magazines and newspapers. I published everything from restaurant menus to church service pamphlets. For a short period, I also co-produced a series of TV video programs about life on the Costa del Sol.
I found work as a proposal manager in the geospatial industry in a large defense corporation. In 2013 I stopped working with GIS and gave up corporate life to concentrate on writing fiction. I now have four books on Kindle, Resist the Darkness, a thriller; The Naked President, a political comedy; Strangle Rats, a horror; and Dirty Rotten Boomers, romance and music in a retirement home.
Currently, I’m working on a futuristic, dystopian novel, The Baltimore Abandonment, which is set in a futuristc dystopian Baltimore; a book of short stories, a detective story; and my opus magnum, Godcom (Intergalactic travel)
